Don't listen to those adults. The ones who laugh and tell you there are no monsters under your bed. It's just your imagination.
I completely cleared out under my bed today for the first time in years. It was mostly old bits of paper, books, CDs, things from school and college. About 25 socks somehow found their way under there as well. It was going good, since I haven't needed anything under there for years, I obviously don't need them so I threw most of it out. There weren't even any spiders....

Soooo I got the job!
I start on October 1st, they just need references. One of them was a family friend I've known my entire life and have worked for on a voluntary basis so mum and I helped with hers this morning. She knows me well but she's not involved in every aspect of my life so we told her what I do in terms of volunteering that would be beneficial for this job and she basically sang my praises. Words like "well mannered" and "pleasant disposition" were used. It...

Okay. I debated doing this but I really don't want to explain so many different times.
Naomi and I broke up last night. We're not getting back together. We're going to stay friends and maybe in the future things will change, but right now we're doing what's best for us.

There were lots of reasons, overall there are a million other things that could be said, I'm sure on both parts, but we're just doing the mature thing and letting it go.

The Isle of Man is as beautiful as I remember. We finally got here about 6pm on Friday after leaving the house at 10am. Drove for nearly three hours to Heysham for the boat and then the boat was three and a half hours. It was cool, I've never been on a ferry before so I wasn't sure what to expect. But there was a cafe, a bar that also did Starbucks, and if you went outside...

Okay so that song has nothing to do with anything, I just absolutely love it and have it stuck in my head right now.
It's been a busy couple of weeks. I've been helping out a lot with my mum at her new(ish) job. She's been assistant director for a couple of years,...

It's been a crazy few weeks!

The plan a few weeks back was for Naomi's dad and partner to move up north, sign the house over to Naomi and I, and we'd live together in their old house. We were all pretty excited about it. Her dad and partner were looking forward to getting away and having an adventure and a fresh start, and we were looking forward to starting our life together.
The Monday before I came home from England, Naomi called me to say that the council won't sign the...

I have *OFFICIALLY* finished my first year at the Open University. Two more years and I'll have a degree in Psychology and can decide whether to do a Masters in Criminal Psychology or Mental Health!

I just submitted my exam essay for the Social Sciences module and could not be more relieved. They really screwed up.
See, we get an "Assignment Booklet" with every module. In that, we have the questions for each assignment we have to hand in, as well as pointers on...
